Refund policy

Summary

QRA offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid subscription. If you upgraded in the last 14 days and aren’t satisfied, request a refund from the Billing page and we’ll process it within 7–10 business days. Renewals, partial months, and one specific use-case (ticket QRs that have been issued to attendees) are not refundable — details below.

When you can request a refund

  • First paid subscription, within 14 days. The clock starts on your first successful charge. Cancel-and-resubscribe doesn’t reset the clock — the window is tied to your original upgrade date.
  • Request from Billing. Click Request refund on the Billing page. We review every request and reply by email within 24 hours.
  • 14-day Pro trial doesn’t count. The free 14-day Pro trial isn’t a paid charge, so there’s nothing to refund — let it expire and your workspace simply becomes inactive, with no charge and your data preserved.

When refunds are not available

  • Ticket QRs have been issued during your subscription. Tickets represent single-use event admissions delivered to your attendees and cannot be returned after issuance. If you only tested the ticket feature and never distributed real tickets, contact us via the Billing page and we’ll review case-by-case.
  • Renewals. Refunds apply only to your first paid subscription — monthly or annual — refunded in full within the 14-day window (we don’t pro-rate). Subsequent renewal charges are non-refundable. Cancel anytime from the Billing page to stop future renewals — you’ll keep your subscription benefits until the end of the current period.
  • Partial mid-cycle days. We don’t pro-rate refunds for unused days after the 14-day window — cancellation stops future renewals; the remaining days of the paid period stay active.
  • Suspected misuse. Refund requests showing patterns of intentional misuse — including subscribing solely to access a single feature for a one-time event — may be denied at our discretion.

How a refund is processed

  • Click Request refund on the Billing page. You’ll see an immediate confirmation and receive a receipt email.
  • We review your request within 24 hours and reply by email with the decision.
  • If approved, the refund goes back to your original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank. Your subscription is canceled at the same time and your workspace is deactivated: all your QR codes stop redirecting and show a “this QR code is paused” message to anyone who scans them. Your data (codes, slugs, analytics history) is preserved — resubscribe anytime to reactivate scanning and regain edit access.
  • If denied, our reply will cite the specific clause from this policy that applies and offer alternatives where possible.

Discretionary refunds

Outside the 14-day window we may still issue a refund at our discretion for: technical defects that prevented you from using the service, duplicate or unauthorized charges, or service outages that lasted more than 24 hours. These are evaluated case-by-case — email billing@qra.cc with the details.
