Embed your logo without breaking the scan

How error-correction interacts with logo size, why we cap at 30%, and which file types render best.

QR codes have built-in error correction — they can still be decoded even if part of the matrix is damaged or covered. The "H" level can recover up to 30% of the QR area, which is why we cap embedded-logo size at 30%.

When you embed a logo, the wizard auto-bumps error-correction to H so coverage stays safe. Smaller is always safer; if you need to print at small sizes (stickers, business cards), keep the logo at 20-25% to leave headroom.

SVG logos render best — they're vector and scale cleanly to any export format. PNG works too; we centre the logo on the QR and overlay it without carving a hole, so the modules underneath remain.

For monochrome SVG presets (PDF, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, WhatsApp, Scan badge), use the "Logo colour" toggle to match the QR foreground, the brand colour, or a custom hex.
